What is Object Pronoun?
Object
pronouns are words
we use to replace names in a sentence when they are receiving the action. They
help us avoid repeating names.
Task:
Tier Circle the object pronoun in each sentence.
1. I called (him, he) yesterday.

3.She invited us to (she,her) birthday party.
4.The teacher helped (her, she) with the
project.
Tier 2:

The Helpful Friends
One
afternoon, Mia and Jake were playing in the backyard. Mia found a big box and
called Jake to help her. Jake ran to her and said, “Let’s
open it together!”
Inside the box, they found a shiny red bike. Mia smiled and
said, “This is for you, Jake!” Jake was so happy and hugged her.
Then, he said, “Thank you, Mia! Let’s ride it together.”
Just then, their dog, Buddy, ran to them and
barked. Mia laughed and said, “Buddy wants to play with us!” Jake picked
up a stick and threw it to Buddy. Buddy caught it and
brought it back to them.
Mia, Jake, and Buddy played together until the sun went down.
It was a perfect day for them!

The Friendly Puppy
One
sunny day, a little puppy named Max ran into the park. He saw a boy playing
with a ball. Max barked at him and wagged his tail. The boy smiled
and threw the ball to him. Max caught it and brought it back
to the boy.
Then, Max saw a girl eating an ice cream cone. He ran
to her and looked at her with his big, cute eyes. The girl
laughed and gave him a lick of her ice cream. Max
licked it happily.
Next, Max noticed two kids flying a kite. He ran
to them and barked at them. The kids waved at him and
let him chase the kite. Max had so much fun with them!
Finally, Max saw his owner calling him. He ran
to her and jumped into her arms. She
hugged him and said, “Good boy, Max! Let’s go home.”
Max wagged his tail and followed her. He loved his day
at the park!
